What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
Direct Primary Care is a membership model with a monthly fee instead of copays or insurance billing. It includes direct access, same-day/next-day scheduling, and extended appointments.
Do you accept insurance?
No. HaniMed does not bill insurance. You may still use insurance for medications, labs, imaging, specialists, and hospital care.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds for my membership?
Many HSA/FSA administrators allow reimbursement when categorized as fees to a health program or health website.
HaniMed can provide:
- A statement
- A coded receipt
- A service summary
Final approval depends on your HSA/FSA provider.
Do I still need insurance?
Yes. You should maintain insurance for emergencies, imaging, specialists, and hospitalization.
Membership replaces primary care, not insurance.

Where is the Metabolic Health Program available?

Is this a GLP-1 clinic?
No. GLP-1 medications are one option, but the program includes structured follow-up, lab monitoring, and a comprehensive physician-led metabolic approach.
Are GLP-1 prescriptions guaranteed?
No. Medications are prescribed only when medically appropriate based on history, labs, and safety.
Do I need medication to join the program?
No. Many patients succeed without medication; plans are individualized.
Do you offer telehealth-only care?
